Hard drive: Adaptec Raid 0 - two HDs totalling 240/Gb Gainward Geforce 4 Ti4600 with dual monitors driver 53.03 w/128mb WinXP sp1 (all updates-Version Service Pack 1 Build 2600) The magic wand crashes so often that I save before using the tool. Still it crashes and is extremly slow, expecially compared to PS7. However, after my initial install which crashed allot, I did a complete reformat and reinstall of everything, updating drivers, and cutting out the unnecessary applications.
I attributed this to a very buggy PS-CS release which seems to run very slow, like it is debating over every command. When I use the magic wand and do several selections, especially finner selections, the program crashes. However, I am not sure if it has to be zoomed in.
